Biography
Will made his debut in the Friendly side against Riding Mill taking 3-35 in 2007 while a member of the U15s.
Made his 2XI debut in the 2008 season away to Morpeth and took over keeping duties in the Sunday Team after returning from injury early in the 2009 season.
Scored his maiden fifty, also the first Fifty for the club, in the North East Midweek League against Procter & Gamble after Ponteland in 2010 and then scored 76 against Bamburgh in the same week. Reached 400 runs for the season by the end of May with his fourth fifty, his first for the 2XI. Continued his form through the season, reaching 1,000 senior runs with 44 against Oddfellows on 9th August before scoring a Friendly team record 5th fifty in a season with an unbeaten 78 against Genetics on the 15th and passed Stuart Taylor's record of 458 runs in a season against Rothbury. |
