Biography 
Robert made his debut during the 2006 season aged 14 in the home fixture against Riding Mill, taking 4-19 in a 3 wicket victory. His availability was restricted by Tennis commitments in 2007 before starting to play regularly in the Midweek side midway through 2008. He also made his 2XI debut in the home game against Consett , the side including both his father Phil and brother George, taking the final wicket
