Alex McLean |
Alex joined the club in 2002, quickly becoming established in the 2XI. He took over the captaincy of the 2XI in 2004, guiding the side to promotion despite losing every toss! Scored 92 against Benwell Hill in a 20 over midweek game during 2003 season. Stood down as Captain after 5 seasons at the end of the 2008 season. The "burden of Captaincy" lifted Alex reached 300 runs for the first time in 2009 finishing 21st in the league averages.
Left the club after moving out of the area towards the end of the 2010 season.
