Richard made his debut in 2001 as a junior, scoring 25* to help win a high scoring game against Belsay, played regularly in 2XI since 2003. Kept wicket in the indoor league in 2004, top scoring over the series of 8 games played after retiring on 25* in 3 of his 5 innings. Equalled 2XI record for outfield catches in a match with 4 against Swalwell in 2005. Made a career best 76 in Ponteland's first game against Alnmouth and Lesbury for 34 years in 2006.
Started working in London before the start of 2007 season. |
