Gary's son Eddie plays for the club and Gary made his debut for the Sunday team in 2021 when they were short against Seaton Burn and a single 3XI game. In the second game of the 2022 season Gary had volunteered to score for the 1XI as they needed a scorer for the match against Newcastle City. With very little warning he was then thrust into the firing line when a player had to withdraw just prior to the match starting. |
