John Charleton |
Biography John made his debut in 1967 and played league cricket almost exclusively in 1XI. Played league cricket at Ponteland until 1976 before moving to Benwell Hill from where he went on to represent Northumberland. Played twice in the fixtures against the MCC, scoring centuries each time., Was named Man of the Match for his unbeaten century in the 1980 MCC centenary fixture. John continued to play friendlies until 1991 and still plays in the President's XI fixture. |
