Biography 
Carl made his debut in 1999 after playing at Newcastle City. Only played occasionally in 2002 as work commitments moved him away from the area, before returning to the area in 2003. Received the Jameson Cup in 2002 after arranging the first tour by the Club for several years. Was the first player to receive the Lawson Rosebowl for a fielding performance after taking five catches in a single innings against Corbridge in 2000, all at silly mid on.

Scored 90 in a 2XI 1st wicket partnership of 205 with Andy Graves against Whickham in 2006 but moved out of the area again midway through the 2007 season.
