Lloyd Anderson
Biography 
Lloyd joined the club as Professional in 2002 after Ponteland moved leagues, qualifying as English in 2003. Kept wicket in his first 2 seasons before opening the bowling in the promotion season of 2004, finishing 2nd in the league averages for bowling and 4th for batting. Appointed Vice Captain in 2004. Stepped down as Professional in 2004, but remained at the Club for the 2005 season and took over as wicket keeper again. Awarded the Lawson Rosebowl for his unbeaten 135* in the Foster's Cup Final against Ashington that won the Trophy for Ponteland.

In 2006 Lloyd became the first player to score 3 centuries in a single season with 128 against Lintz and Greenside and 130 in the Annfield Plain game. In that match he also equalled the highest 2XI stand of 214 with Malcolm Clarke, became the fastest player to score 3,000 runs in the 1XI and became the first player to score 5 centuries for the 1XI. His innings of 48 at Sacriston on 26th August took Lloyd past both the league and club batting record with 1,085 runs, finishing with 1200 runs from 21 Innings. Almost un-noticed during the season because of his batting feats, Lloyd also equalled the 1XI record for Wicket keeper dismissals in a season with 23 and became the first winner of the Roy Storer fielding trophy.

Lloyd moved to Swalwell following relegation in the 2006 season.
